Automotive Mechanic Instructor

I am an experienced automotive mechanic instructor with over 37 years in the automotive industry and 18 years of teaching experience. I am passionate about fostering the next generation of automotive professionals, by combining a hands-on expertise with a strong commitment to student success.

After earning my degree in Automobile Mechanics in 1987, I began my career as a certified automotive technician, specializing in diagnostics, engine repair and electrical systems. I have worked with various automotive brands, gaining a deep understanding of modern vehicle technologies.

In my role as an instructor, I strive to emphasize the importance of both technical skills and professional development. I use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on training, multimedia presentations, and real-world case studies, to engage students and enhance their learning experiences. I am dedicated to ensuring that each student not only masters the mechanical skills needed but also understands the principles of safety, customer service, and teamwork.

Outside of the classroom, I stay current with industry trends through continuous education and involvement in professional organizations.

In my spare time, I enjoy restoring classic cars, attending car shows, or racing. I believe that a passion for automobiles can lead to a fulfilling and successful career.
