Hairdressing Teacher

Hello, my name is Kessara and I have been a hairdressing teacher since 2013. I have a great passion for hair and fashion during my teenage years. In my late twenties, I accomplished my biggest dream of becoming a hairdresser. To this day, my fashion background always steered me toward colour trends and styled haircuts. I am always striving for new, innovative hairstyles that I like integrating into my teaching. I put a lot of importance on differentiated learning, where I work in parallel with colleagues and academic advisors for students’ success. I am known as an “energetic person” who likes to create a great and positive environment while sharing knowledge. From an educator’s perspective, seeing the spark in the student’s eye is the greatest accomplishment and motivation in my teaching career. I always remind students of this mantra: “No one gives up in my class!”
