Automobile Mechanics Teacher

Hello, my name is Dino Buontempo. Growing up, I was always fascinated by cars and often spent weekends helping my dad’s friend in an auto repair shop. This early interest led me to pursue an automotive technology degree.

My career began 24 years ago, as a mechanic at Mercedes Benz silver star, where I quickly learned engine repair, diagnostics, and electrical systems. My passion for problem-solving and attention to detail earned me a reputation for excellence. Over the years, I’ve also worked at Honda.

My passion for teaching the next generation of auto enthusiasts came at a very early stage in my Career. This passion for teaching future technicians brings great joy to me. In addition to teaching technical skills, my ability to communicate effectively with students, ensures they understand the issues and solutions for different problems solving.

My mission as a teacher here at Laurier Mac Donald Career Center is to make a positive impact in the lives of our students.
