Automobile Mechanics Teacher

Hi, I am Carlo Verardo, an Automotive, Electric and Hybrid Detailing Instructor.

With over 35 years of experience in the Automotive Industry, I have worked in various places Dicom Express, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, Buick, Chrysler and Gagnon Battery and independent garages

I have been teaching since the end of 2014 as an Automotive Industry Instructor and since 2021 AEP Electrical Vehicles and the Detailing Program since 2023.

My teaching Philosophy is teaching knowledge and my skills of the trade hands on and fostering a collaborative learning environment in the class and shop. This will gain them a lot of practical experience and being confident of their skills, and knowledge being learnt in school and implementing this in the industry.

I received a diploma in Automobile Mechanics in 1984-85. I received my certificate from CPA for Mécanicien Compagnon. I pursued my training with General Motors and Volkswagen focusing on fuel injection, electrical and diesel engines. My training continued in the OBD3 Solutions on TPMS valves. I was an inspector with the SAAQ. I took courses in hybrid and electrical vehicles, receiving an Attestation de présence aux formations – Maître Formateur VE, Vehicles hybrids et électriques. Finally, I am completing my Baccalaureate en enseignement at the University de Sherbrooke for teaching.
